Domino C-Stores Donates $4,900 to Nance Elementary

On Friday, December 14th, Domino C-Stores presented Nance Elementary with a donation of $4,930.  This is the company’s second donation for their Fueling the Classroom Program, an ongoing program to benefit all communities within the Domino C-Stores service area.

“Nance is proud to be a 1:1 iPad school, and our students will greatly benefit from the Bluetooth headphones that will be purchased with this funding,” said Nance principal Janalyn Taylor.  “The staff and students are so excited to be receiving this donation from Domino!”

They were so excited that they paid Domino C-Store #119 in Clinton a special visit on December 6th to say thank you.

“I think the visit from the students speaks volumes,” the store’s manager Valerie Teal stated.  “It was exciting for us to see how we’re impacting these students and to show our customers how they’re helping.  By supporting a classroom, we’re helping build these children’s futures.”

As part of Fueling the Classroom, Domino C-Stores is donating one penny per gallon of fuel sold at all Domino locations all day every Wednesday.  Domino has donated over $10,000 to local schools since the start of the program in October.

A new school will be selected to receive a donation each month.  Schools can be nominated on the company’s website at dominocstores.com/fuelingclass.  Voting then takes place on social media.
