Domino Donates $5,500 to Corn Bible Academy

Corn, OK, June 10, 2019– On Friday, June 7th, Domino C-Stores presented Corn Bible Academy with a donation of $5,548.  This is the company’s eighth donation for their Fueling the Classroom Program, an ongoing program to benefit all communities within the Domino C-Stores service area.

“Corn Bible Academy is grateful for the support of local businesses.  Thank you, Domino, for the wonderful Fueling the Classroom donation,” said April Javorsky, Admissions Coordinator at Corn Bible Academy.  “This funding will aid us in our continued pursuit towards academic excellence and in helping parents train their children!”

Corn Bible Academy plans to use the funds for updated computers for their students to use in various research projects.

“It is an awesome experience getting to watch the teachers’ and students’ faces light up when we hand them a giant check for thousands of dollars,” added Paxton McCormick, manager at Domino #108 in Weatherford.  “Education is not always put first in Oklahoma, so it is amazing to be part of a company that is willing to give back so much!”

As part of Fueling the Classroom, Domino C-Stores donated one penny per gallon of fuel sold at all Domino locations all day every Wednesday.  Domino has donated $40,000 to local schools since the start of the program in October 2018.

Corn Bible Academy was the last Fueling the Classroom recipient before the program breaks for the summer.  Fueling the Classroom will return in September 2019 for the start of a new school year.
